Biography

Patrick is a broad-shouldered sturdy man who understands the struggles miners face, having been one himself. While panning for gold in the Georgia Gold Rush of 1829, he accrued means-enough to pay for his seminary education. Once complete, he heeded The Call to serve in the West and was in a prime position when gold was found at Sutter's Mill in Sacramento, CA. He went from the hills to the valley proclaiming the goodness of the Lord and served the miners by feeding them, clothing them, and he was even known to pick up a hammer now and again to drill holes for black powder...as long as he's the one who got to light the fuse. A good man, by all accounts, revered and appreciated by those who give a man of the cloth the time of day in the rabel-rousing, free-for-all that is Sacramento.
